What is the analysis of food on animals?

I recently ordered Innova dog and cat food for my pets. When they were delivered on the back of the food that says "animal feeding trials with AAFCO (Association of American officials to control supply) procedures justify food Innova provides complete and balanced nutrition … "I know that Iams tests on animals as well, a" human "way. But I do not like. What do they do when they test on animals for food? I imagine that animals kept in small cages for all day. My choice is now either Innova feed them, or re-Purina, because they do not test on animals, but they are a good food.

quality, food face, pets in general, are tested on animals – they want to know if the animals eat it easily and therefore are selling well. as pet food is big business, this big deal too – expensive tests. NO thiink that if you feed a special diet / need the formula is different. perhaps without brand name is not the test? Who knows? can try to contact AAFCO agency regarding the living conditions of animals tester and if these tests are mandatory for pet food. I I know nothing about that – just once read an article that really please and pamper the animals tester, bacause producing food for pampered pets can be very demanding. and monitor their health carefully for food caused any adverse long-term, the company must be (at great expense) able to demonstrate that it is not. this makes sense. After all, pet food is not supposed to be harmful, as opposed to any kind of drugs or cosmetics tested on animals want.
