Zoology or nutrition?
I'm about to be the last year of high school which means it's time to start applying to colleges. I know it is not necessary to declare a major until the end of my second year, but the choice of what I consider to help me choose a school. Right now I'm stuck between the behavior of zoology / animal nutrition. I'm leaning towards zoology, because I love animals and I love to work with them, but most of the races out there have very low wages. I also want to study nutrition because I'm fascinated by the science of food. What should I study? What can you recommend schools that offer one or two?
In the end, only you can decide what you want. However, why not all those of the same. For example, most zoos have kitchens diet where all the food in and prepare it for the animals. You could always zoology and minor in animal feed. Or if you are worried about the money you could make a nutrition major and minor and have a full time job working with animals and advising people to one side. Or conversely, complete nutritional make time and work with animals in a part time or as volunteers. As for schools will be honored on this day and age really does not matter where you go, always on the go.
