Should people be taking a class count calories from the beginning?

One weight is determined by its regulation of calories. It saddens me to see people constantly sucked into the low-carb and other silly fashions when all you have to do is take a few days to learn some basic principles of nutrition that any nutritionist will charge you an arm and a leg. A note to the ladies. Obtain and maintain their weight or muslce is the key to a youthful figure. That is only accomplished by having you take the combination and amount of calories. Starving your self is a great way to ruin themselves.

People should be forced to lower the lazy ass and do some squats. It's good to know some basic nutrition, but as you said, most of fad diets are useless. I come from the school of thought that says you can eat almost anything (within reason) and remain active as long as, you will not have weight problems or health.
