Treatment of IBS: good and bad bacteria ignored? Logic would suggest that IBS is caused by bad bacteria in your intestinal tract or colon. The logic suggests that these bacteria often called "parasites" may be responsible of many diseases, like Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis, schizophrenia and cancer. For 'ulcers' decades were of unknown origin, and finally found that the bacterium was the cause. I might suggest a treatment consists of three components. IBS is more common celiac disease is diagnosed as a syndrome. IBS is a common label is basically the doc do not know what it is.
