Runners Nutrition Help?

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, I am 4 to 5 miles. This week, for example, 4.33,4.3, and 5. I have read in many articles and magazines have to eat 15 minutes after the workout is done. Now, I eat a bowl of oatmeal and a banana, sometimes with a slice of toast before running. I have fear of undoing my efforts, but as usually a Clif bar within the first 15 minutes, today I ate a raw Revolution Bar, which to my surprise was higher in fat, low carbohydrate and protein, but made with all organic matter than a Clif bar. Clif Bar is the best? Usually as 1400-1600 calories a day, but I lose more weight. What should I do to change my lifestyle / diet?

I love Cliff bars. Only They usually have power bars before running and oatmeal and a banana after a race. So do the opposite! I have also 5.4 miles each day
