How do I get rid of sulfur-smelling gas?

I have really bad, frequent gas. It’s terrible. So far I have narrowed down eggs, yogurt, bagels and most vegetables (especially cabbage, broccoli and brussel sprouts!) and I have eliminated those items from my diet. However, I still have frequent bouts of smelly gas that I can not narrow down to a specific food (although I suspect a gluten allergy). I’ve already had to eliminate many healthy foods from my diet- how am I supposed to get good nutrition without offending all my loved ones? (Thank God I have an understanding boyfriend!)

I agree with the initial response to run this by your primary care doctor. Sometimes this is a sign there is a problem that you can treat such as irritable bowel syndrome or even a bacterial imbalance in your digestive tract. If you are healthy and do not want to cut out whatever is causing this from your diet you still have options.

You could try some over the counter anti gas products, but most of them do not work for everyone and when they do help it is only in specific situations. For example, from the Beano website:
