Colon cleansing is very healthy for you?

This will be a kind of clumsy and gross subject … My friend and I were thinking about doing a colon cleanse. One of our other friends tried it and said it made her feel much healthier. So I gave the instructions, which were: to obtain purified water and mixed in cayenne pepper, lemon / lime and maple syrup grade b Drink a bottle a day and not eating anything for over a week or as long as your body allows. Thus, not filling your body with the same toxins of trying to wash. Not sure if this is correct or not, though. Not eating does not sound good to me, but she said the drink me provides nutrients and energy. Does this sound right to anyone? if not, what is the right way to do a colon cleanse?

Any "clean" is a marketing gimmick. They do not work. They do nothing to make you weak and losing weight of water (gained back). Your friend probably feels "much healthier" having worked as a placebo. Your body cleans itself naturally through the digestion and elimination. Drinking water mixed with pepper and lemon does not help this process.
