Colon Cleansing Mucoid

I considered doing a Colonix colon cleansing as to help with my constipation problem, but I decided that if the majority of medical doctors who mucoid plaque is nonsense and colon cleansing is unnecessary, I will not buy it. Instead, I started taking Metamucil (which is basically psyllium, a natural filler agent used in many colon clean), and also to help me finally having regular, soft bowel movements, it gave me a lot of raw rubber cords that resemble photos of the "mucoid plaque" on the websites of colon cleanse product. So what is this, and I have to get rid of it? Doctors recommend freight fiber as psyllium for constipation, so I think these results are probably good for me, but I just want to know what is going on!
