HELP! cant get rid of my LOWER BELLY FAT!! please help.?

okay so ive been doing the amazing life style change since around january i used to weigh 207lbs. i now weigh 170lbs. and my height is 5’6 …im very happy with the change but i just cant seem to get rid of my lower belly fat!!! i hate it ssoo much i want to weigh ideally around 140-155…i eat as healthy as possible wich consists of low fat yogurts,nature valley bars,fruits,multigrain cheerios,i eat whole grain crackers and my regular cup of coffee in the mornings for dinner i have white chicken breast (or fish) with broccoli sometimes carrots and salad with lime (no dressings) i dont eat rice maybe once a month and i go to the gym 3 times a week for an hour each day i do alot of cardio and then when im home at night i’ll do sit ups,leg ups,and pilates…i also do weight training.I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO PLEASE HELP! HOW DO I GET RID OF MY LOWER BELLY FAT…oh and im doing a colon cleanse now wich i started yesterday.

You can’t target your lower belly for fat loss. You have to just lose fat in general. Here’s how you do that:

Exercise – cardio, almost every day. Good job with that, by the way… but if you get sick of 1 hour every time you do cardio, try doing 30 minutes every day.
Eat healthy, eat LESS. How much you eat is just as important as what you eat. Even if you’re eating cheerios or salad, don’t overeat; eat slowly, and definitely stop when you’re full.
If you follow these rules, go ahead and eat rice with your meal. A little rice won’t cause you to gain any weight, as long as you don’t overeat it.

Here’s another tip: don’t focus on your weight. Your weight is completely unimportant as long as you’re healthy, by which I mean you eat nutritious, beneficial foods and exercise. Besides, everybody has a different “ideal” weight at which they’re at a healthy state, due to larger bone and/or muscle density and so on.

It’s important to stick with your regime, so that it’ll stay with you for life. And I should mention, don’t be too hard on yourself or too critical if you have some fat on your lower belly. Even some of the healthiest people probably have some flab. Remember: everybody looks different with unique body types, but if you’re in fantastic shape it’ll show.
