Colon Cleansing With Juice

What I mean by this is can it act like an enema or colon cleansing for gas? It seems that when I drink protein shakes (mixed with orange juice or pineapple juice) that I become slightly gassy. When I first started making protein shakes, I was extremely gassy. Just kind of curious to know if it’s supposed to do that or not.
No, fiber is best for cleansing. Foods like oatmeal or barley naturally clean out your colon. If I am summing correctly, you probably use some kind of mixer to make your smoothies right? Those blades not only mix up your shakes, they whip air in too which can cause some gas. I know that for some reason guys love protein shakes, but they are really not helpful to most people. I think that trading in that shake for a big bowl of oatmeal (or shredded wheat) and a piece of fruit would really make a difference in your routine.
