Walter Willett, MD, Ph.D, Chair, Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health says there is no evidence we need to consume that much everyday. Also, the countries who consume high amounts of calcium and milk such as U.S., Scandinavia. Norway, etc. in their diet have the highest rates of osteoporosis and bone fractures.
