my head neck and left shoulder goes suddenly crooked when i become self consious or face certain people.?

now iam 46 years old this problem started when i was 20 years old.this problem has brought shame to me.it happened on my wedding day and many other occassions.that is why i dont go to wish people or face much people or eat with people.this problem lasts for few seconds or minutes.iam totally normal now working in kuwait.my superviser has noticed this problem sometimes thinking that i may fall or die allthough i never fainted for the last 25 years. he says unless i get a fitness certificate from a neorologist he will not renew my contract.i explained to him that but he thinks it is a serious problem of neck becoming stiff or neck going crooked with a jerk sometimes.i work effectively and smoothly though.is it a personal health defect or a deseise?is there any medecine for that?rest everything is normal. plz advice. mario vincent

my advice is to do as your supervisor instructed. if the neurologist finds nothing wrong, the go to some type mental health counselor. I believe such a reaction to stress has a cause in the nerves or the emotions.
