i have to identify the key characteristics from organisations that offer beauty therapy services…help!!?
manufacturers, salons, health spas, hotels, cruise liners, fitness and leisure providers, suppliers is the list of organisations we have been given along with this question.
and yes that is the whole question – explanatory i think not!
please help i literally have to produce a report on this question…..not just one line…..and i haven’t a clue!

We then have a list underneath that question of the organisations i have listed above.
Will H, thankyou for taking the time to help but having looked at your source of info we have already done a unit very similar to that so i doubt it would be the same i may be wrong however!
Having asked my tutor, all she would tell me was to OUTLINE the types of organisations listed and the services they offer. Am i the only one not getting this?!
You are correct. That is VERY vague!
Is there any way that you could ask your course coordinator to explain specifically what they mean when they say “key characteristics”? Do they mean characteristics that the listed organisations have in COMMON? Or do they mean that you must list ALL the characteristics of EACH organisation? And, in either case, “characteristics” is a very broad term. This could refer to members of staff, aesthetics of the organisation, etc. etc.
When I think of organisations that offer beauty services, I think of characteristics like impeccable customer service and satisfaction, a pristine/ calm work environment, an environment of trust/ confidentiality for the consumer, etc.
But, given the open-endedness of the question, I am not really sure if that is what they mean…
