I am graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science. I originally wanted to go into nursing, so I have most of the prerequisites needed already. I also have 2 years of volunteering experience at the VA Hospital Hospice Care Unit and about 4 months of volunteering at a free clinic and I am currently an intern as a Fitness Facilitator for preschool children. My internship will last for about 6 months. I have a GPA so far of 3.63. I don’t have any paid work experience and I am unsure what kind of job I should get with my major after I graduate. Where does the process of getting into PA school begin? And based on my current standing, what are my chances of getting in to a school? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you!!!
What are your GRE/MCAT scores?
Getting into grad school is heavily based on your test scores. If you haven’t taken any graduate tests yet, you need to sign up ASAP.
Your grades are good and you ahve a little healthcare experience so I think your chances are good. Your first step will be to look at PA schools in your area and review their admission requirements. Look at the prereqs and tests you need to take for admission.
