wii fit coming soon!!!?
So we now have a release date and price I was wandering what the general public thought about wii fit.
I have heard the reports from so called health professionals saying it wont make a difference to the health or fitness of anyone but I cant see how they can say this.
Rather than sat on our backsides watching TV we will be up doing yoga and push ups and skiing and all the other stuff so surely that makes a difference and as it measures weight and BMI and fitness levels surely it will male us more concious about our bodies and make us eat better and take care of ourselves better cos we are going to be thinking more about our fitness levels to look better on screen and beat the people we play against. Surely this is a great thing?

I think it might just be revolutionary. If at least one third of people are obese then this just might give Nintendo the upper hand in next generation gaming while stressing activity. I doubt you will really work up a sweat, but if you do make it a habit to weigh yourself, I think its pretty nice to see if you are gaining weight or losing it. Just the chart by itself will be pretty cool. I also think that people will get REALLY excited and just like any other video game, they want to be the best. They want bragging rights. So if Wii Fit inspires them to lose weight then I think Nintendo made a breakthrough. My only question is, if BMI (Body Mass Index) is a ratio of weight to height, how does the Wii Board know how tall you are? I think you should have a measuring tape nearby if you don’t know your height. ANYWAY, sounds like fun, I think i’m getting it.
