Does the nutrition of man has any impact on the baby’s health or he just transfers his genes(DNA) to the baby

Assume that the man has enough sperm and doesn’t have any fertility problem. I am wondering if his nutrition before conceiving affects the baby’s health? In other words, I am wondering if what he eats is important for his sperm to make a healthy baby? If the sperm just transfers his DNA to the baby, his DNA is a fixed thing and shouldn’t be affected by his nutrition!?!!?

Sperm count yes DNA can’t see it unless he has been eating Sellafield Lamb or Chernobyl Potatoes.
