Gallbladder Surgery, yes or no?

I have been suffering extreme gallbladder attacks for the last 5 months, shortly after I gave birth to my daughter. Ive gone to the ER 3 times for it. Yes, I have been told I need to have my gallbladder removed.. I have tried alternatives, such as the “Liver & Gallbladder Cleanse” and got some green stone looking things out.. but I have also been reading some skeptics on this cleanse, saying these things that people “flush” aren’t actually gallstones at all. I had my last attack 3 days ago, and it was by far the worse. I didn’t go to the ER, because I knew what was happening this time and pain meds never work in the ER anyway. I am now turning jaundice…. please can anyone give me advice…. I am thinking for the surgery.. but I do not want to have chronic diarrhea as Im reading is a side effect…. any advice?? I am 24 years old…

I just had my gallbladder surgery today. I am only 25 years old. I did not really fit the criteria for the patients who normally have gallstones. I am thin and not overweight, but I am female. Anyways, I was just like you. I had gallbladder pains for like two months before they took it out. I was just as scared as you. If you looked at my other questions I asked,. I was scared out of my mind. When I saw how big the stone was, it was literally the size of a marble. There was no way the stone would pass if I tried the gallbladder flush. I would probably end up with an emergency surgery.I feel find afterward, So don’t worry! The incisions were the size of a your small pinkie nail. Not very noticeable. I had lots of encouragement from the nurses that did it and from my coworkers that had it done, some as young at 23! So don’t worry about it, you will be fine!
