All Natural Liver and gallbladder cleanse question?

i did a cleanse with olive oil..garlic..and grapefruit… about 200 pea size, green things came out but nothing as large as the photos i found from the cleanse recipe online.. what are those pea size green things? and do these homemade remedies really work? does anyone have any first hand experience with this? thanks

No they don’t work, they don’t do anything. They are a scam.

The green things are not stones. Here is the explanation -

They are “bile-stained “soaps” produced by partial saponification (soap formation) of the oil. A recent demonstration found that mixing equal volumes of oleic acid (the major component of olive oil) and lemon juice produced several semi-solid white balls after a small volume of potassium hydroxide solution was added. After air-drying at room temperature, these balls became quite solid and hard. When formed in the intestine, these objects absorb bile and become green.”

Tony – your are attacking the person, not the argument. What exactly is scientifically wrong this explanation? And putting forward survey results from websites selling products is not a valid argument either. At best its anecdotal, at worse it’s either totally biased or completely made up.
