I assume that you are fighting for your life .
The targeted therapy drugs are being used already on many different cancer types . . . anyone fighting cancer is aware of them . .but folks not used to the cancer world may be surprised . . cancer is being treated more and more as a chronic disease. Targeted therapy is intended to control disease progression and not necessarily ‘cure’ the patient. It is less toxic and pills can be taken on a daily basis( if it works for that cancer) indefinitely.
