How do people with lots of interests and hobbies decide what to do for a career?

Geology, Biology, Astronomy, Nutrition, Agriculture, Cooking, Activism, Fitness, Antiques. These are my hobbies and interests and I have no idea what degree to obtain.

It can be tough but you have to do the “process of elimination” thing. Ask yourself some questions such as………..

1. do you want to work outside or inside? If you want to work outside then cooking, antiques and maybe nutrition would probably be eliminated.
2. do you want to work with other professionals or with people who do not have a college degree? Eliminate agriculture, possibly, if you want to work with other professionals.
3. do you want to make a lot of money? If so, eliminate activism, fitness, antiques, cooking, agriculture and nutrition, most likely.
4. do you want to travel? If so, work in geology.

Get the idea? You have to narrow your likes a little more and also think about how much schooling each one, if any, will require and do you have the money for school or will you take out loans?

It will take lots of thought on your part.
