to those who believe in alternative health, what made you believe so much?
I am a big believer myself in much of it.
answer all parts if possible
1 what made you believe so much
2 Have you had success using it with yourself of friends and can you detail that.
3 Is there a branch of the wide umbrella of alternative health that you believe in more than other parts?
(IE– herbs, nutrition, type of diet, naturpathic, massage, exercise, mind-body work, homeopathic, Ayurvedic, hydrotherapy, massage, etc. what are you areas of expertise or belief.
4 For those who challenge alternative health, are there any parts of it you do believe in or think work or help?
5 for those who believe are there any segments of it, you do not believe are helpful or you know little about?
6 what is your opinion of allopathic medicine?
Ok Here goes!!!
1 Personal experience over and over. When one looks to the natural tools available rather than synthetic ( and I do use this word broadly) one finds health improves.
2 I have a daughter who is a cancer survivor. we used allopathic remedies along with Reiki healing circles, Guided Imagery and Herbs. It was a synergy of all these things that gave her the will to survive.
3As I said before it is a synergy of many modalities. I am a Massotherapist, Hypnotherapist and Chi Nei Tsang practitioner. Would I choose one over the other. I do not think so. This to me is being elitist and disrespects the holistic approach to healing in my mind. I integrate several modalities in my practice. That is why I teach. Practitioners and clients alike owe it to themselves to continue to grow and learn.
6 Allopathic medicine has its place but it is not god… unless we allow it to be.
