Nutrition Care Process Examples

I've been trying to get my wife to buy healthy foods at the supermarket, but she says that we have money. I used to believe food cost more healthier, but I'm taking a nutrition class in college, and it seems that is not necessarily true. She buys a lot of processed foods and easy to do things because they can not cook too well. (For me) who have asked to learn to cook some of my mom so she knows how to do things I like, but she refuses. We have about $ 250 a month for two people for food in our budget and is responsible for the purchase, since I work and go to school. I really care about our food, but it does not matter to her to buy things unhealthy cheap. Are there things that can be purchased that are not too expensive or unhealthy to replace? I need some examples to give you PLEASE! Also some recipes Healthy or something like that would be good to learn. I'm not in a special low-carb diet or anything just want to eat more nutritiously.
Oh, Randall. So many topics, so little time. First, try not to make his wife learn anything from your mom, unless she wants. That's asking for trouble. Second, if you change the way your family eats, you need to be more proactive than just handing his wife some impressions. I understand that you are working and going to school, but I can say just from reading your question that you need to be more involved with this that you might like. You have to help in the kitchen for a while until his wife gets into this new style of cooking, one can not say to do it and leave it at that. That is likely to learn how to cut and prepare these foods, so your help. Make it fun for both the pop music and have fun with your kitchen. That said, there are ways you can sooo healthy eating and economically. Believe me, do. Learn what vegetables they like, and learn ways that likes to cook. Soups are very cheap to make. If you buy frozen vegetables, you can get big bags very low cost and used for all types of foods. Frozen chicken breasts are not that expensive. Do you have a crock pot? I've been looking online and found soooo many great websites to facilitate Crock Pot dinner, many are healthy and easy. Usually pulls in some meat, vegetables, some, and some condiments, and the clay pot does the rest. Chile is very easy to make and cheap, get some ground beef (I only get 93% fat), coffee in a large pot, add some canned beans (rinse the juice of the first to reduce sodium), add a can of chopped tomatoes, a small can of chilies if you like, the fresh or frozen chopped onion and green pepper (nice and economical to buy top of the onions or green peppers when they're on sale, cut a lot, and put them in a freezer bag. It's a pain to cut out a lot, but you'll have for a while and can be used in many recipes), add a packet of chili seasoning and simmer. It could not be easier. Another way to serve vegetables (cheap and healthy) is to cut a large potato (or two small) and cut an onion. Place a large sheet of foil. Put the vegetables and sprinkle the existence with a little salt and pepper and a tablespoon of olive oil. Place on a grill or oven to 350 degrees. Grilled or baked some chicken breasts that are marinated in Italian dressing during the night next to the bag. When chicken juices are clear, the vegetables should be done, too. Delicious dinner, healthy in 30 minutes or less. Or make a hamburger a few of burgers (again 93% fat) and baked next to the package. If the hamburger is $ 3.00 a pound, four burgers, and freeze two of them for later. The two hamburgers to eat only costs $ 1.50, and vegetables may be a cost of $ 1.00 or $ 1.50. That's dinner for two for $ 3! I could go on all day. If I have time, I'll come back and add a little more of the foods we eat regularly. Good luck ~
