Nutrition Certification For Nurses
Posted in Health and Nutrition on 12/17/2007 05:42 am by Steven NerenbergI decided to enter the nursing program as an RN in my local cc, what to expect and be prepared?
On January 10 I am prejudicial guidance less to achieve my GED as soon as possible and tomorrow I'll talk to a counselor at my school to do to enter college to get a few pre req classes out of the way while I'm getting my GED. I took a humanities class more in this cc at a time so I hope the transfer. But I can see the pre reqs only appears in the catalog of the prgram is Human Nutritional Sciences, Introduction to Psychology, Human A & PI + lab, and microcomputer applications and CPR certification. But it would be a kind of mathematics or other required? Also, any tips or advice for preparing and entering the program and what to expect once you enter it?
Well there are usually one semester to one year worth of prerequisites before they can apply to the current program Nursing. We hope to be competitive. You want to overcome all that the fourth set admission standards. The higher your GPA the sooner you can enter the program if the school has a waiting list (most community colleges do). Often, the time seven people with a 3.5 or higher are still being wait a semester. The other classes that need to be 8 credits of anatomy and physiology, sociology, possibly, a public speaking class and maybe some others I'm having trouble remembering. The school has a list of "pre-nursing" classes listed on their website.
