Part of my final exam for the class of Food and Nutrition is to prepare a meal for my family. All recipes I have selected, the shopping list done – everything. Only I have the problem of figuring out the hours in which to cook this when preparing this, so the teacher "planner" absolutely no help. It was just a letter he had "homework to do," "Start Time", "Time Final, "" Things to Remember. "However, this leaves no room for the things I'm doing while something is cooking, etc. Also, I want to several things at once, but can not use the scheduler that way. Are there any suggestions, possibly planning templates food, or words of wisdom that can give me? My menu is as follows: Virgin strawberry daiquiri Tomato Bruschetta Caesar Salad Spaghetti with two olives and tomato sauce vanilla cupcakes This is really, really frustrating, so help is appreciated!
Prepare as early as possible so that the only final of the bits is to put together more closely to serve / lunch. I would say: Make your cupcakes in advance (the day before and refrigerate overnight or same day) and have everything ready to go in your tray so there was nothing to do there later. Long before mealtime can make the filling Brushetta, make the tomato sauce, cut the lettuce for the salad and keep a container in the refrigerator, make your pitcher daiquiris and keep in the fridge. 30 minutes before eating, heat the tomato sauce, while which is slowing down heating, build your Brushetta, put in a pot of water to boil for pasta. cook the pasta, toss the salad and toss the pasta with the sauce just before to bring to the table. Pour daiquiris, when everyone is sitting at the food while it is pulling pasta and salad and are waiting to eat.
