Nutrition Chipotle Burrito

Is there anything healthy to eat at Chipotle?

I’ve gone to Chipotle twice in the past week, and it’s so unhealthy! Their burritos contain over 1000 calories, as well a ton of fat, carbs, and sodium! I got some advice from a friend to try one of their “Burrito Bowls” which is basically just the inside of the burrito, without the tortilla. However, when I looked it up afterwards online, it’s still 900+ calories and still had a ton of fat and sodium. I love the irresistably good taste of Chipotle, but I don’t like all of the unhealthy nutrition statistics that come along with it.

Therefore, my question is:

Is there anything healthy to eat at Chipotle?

skip the tortilla, skip the meat (yay sodium filled seasoning!), beware spiced beans, and go with the pico de gallo (which should just be jalapenos, tomatoes and i think onions… salsas tend to have salt and such in them). skip the sour cream and the guac. beware sauces.

unfortunately, that leaves… well. not much to eat.

i’d eat there less often, and eat healthier the rest of the time, so you don’t feel bad about eating fatty, salty chipotle when you do. learn how to spice your meats and such yourself, and cook it at home. then you’ll have great food, without the extra salt and fat!
