Nutrition Cnc

Are these reputable designations?

I am interested in studying nutrition and the program I want to take says that upon completion of the program I can apply to be one of the following:
- certified sports nutrition consultant (CSNC)
- Registered nutrition consultant (RNC)
- registered nutrition conselor (RNC)
- Certified nutrition consultant (CNC)

has anyoen heard of these designations? Are there jobs out there for them?
the program i am looking into is with the “alive academy”

I’m not sure whether or not they are legit titles for obtaining employment. I would stick with programs that are accredited by the American Dietetic Association whether it’s to become a registered dietician (RD) which may require a master’s degree as well as clinical experience or the dietetic technician which must complete a two-year associate degree program along with the clinical/fieldwork exp.

Here’s the website: www.eatright.org And just fyi, please stay away from those ‘online schools’ such as penn foster and stratford career institute as they are not really seen as reputable by employers.

And for the US occupational outlook handbook: www.bls.gov/oco and can type into search ‘nutritionist’, ‘registered dietician’ or ‘dietetic technician’.
