WIC – women, infant, and child (WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.)
I just started working there and i have not gotten many WIC forms, but still would like to know how- i’m sure they will teach me later but i rather learn now before hand.
I know i can ask @ work, but please if u do know tell me^^ i will be so great full to have a heads up~~ having it written down is so much easier.
Thanks~
When I use WIC vouchers at wal mart, they check the items to be sure they are correct and match the amount on the check, then ring them up, if it is not correct accepted items, it is kicked out by the register (I picked up the worng juice one time so I know this LOL)
after the items are rung up you get a total, and you enter the $amount on the check with the date, THEN the customer signs the check, THEN you verify the signature to their ID card (VOC card) and cash out the purchase. at wal mart they usually call a supervisor over to double check and initial the voucher.
