What type of rock would I use to make stone soup, like in the children’s story?
Other than the stone, the ingredients from the children’s story seemed to be pretty healthy. I want to use it to illustrate a fun nutrition activity when the children from the elementary school visit. However, using a stone that would make everybody sick, or worse, would be counter-productive. Thanks, in advance.
Just pick a rock or two pff the ground. Wash well. Then add to the soup.
We used to do this in elementry school, and I insisted for a long time that soup tasted better with a rock in it, so when we made veggie beef soup at home I had to go pick a rock.
