bodybuilding / nutrition (fillet of beef against)?
Hi, I'm trying to gain muscle mass through a rigorous exercise regime, and proper eating habits. lately I'm on the purchase of lean ground beef or half of my local supermarket, as it is cheap and I'm on a budget tight. a friend of mine tells me bite is an excellent source of protein, is this true? What are the disadvantages of using ground beef instead of steak ole good? from meat seems to be going for twice the price he had to assume there are some benefits, but for one major concern is to build muscle .. important? I also try to get some chicken and horse meat in my diet, as too much red meat is not good for you. again, with these, it is chopped / minced meat chicken / horse less beneficial than the equivalent of meat? if that is relevant to my current intake of protein is mainly composed of 4 egg whites, 2 yolks egg (all scrambled), a can of tuna and two whey protein shakes and some choices of meat for dinner, thanks, appreciate the answers! jt
Ground beef can be sub optimal in the sense that you may have to consume more fat for the same amount of protein in a cut of beef leaner and back. But things get a bit boring anyway the day after the same diet day. Getting in and out of red meat with poultry, fish, tofu even cheese.Mix up and will be less boring, but will also provide a greater variety of nutrients in different areas. Every day boiled chicken drive anyone crazy. Nuts, for example, are higher in good fats, have antioxidant properties and are rich in protein and fiber. Beware cashews and pistachios, but almonds, walnuts, pecans, filberts / hazelnuts / Brazil nuts and macadamia … even peanuts. All differerent taste / good / interesting and full of nutrients.
