Nutrition Gyro Meat

Could the nutrition label be wrong?

I bought some pre-sliced Gyro meat at a local grocery store. I looked at the nutrition lable, and it said “130 calories, 17 grams of fat, 1g fiber”, and the fat seemed really high for only 130 calories…. could it be possible the nutrition label is wrong? I know a gram of fat typically has 9 calories, which would be 156 calories (but if the calories are right, then I’m closer to 14g of fat).

Or is there some formula that could be used that I don’t know about that the food company could use? Could it be right?
Oh definitley, there’s plenty of high calorie foods with no fat, but if there is fat, it adds 9 calories per gram. So there should be AT LEAST 156 calories in this, plus the calories from the non fat ingredients. OR the fat grams are wrong, and there are less of those (therefore less calories).

You’re right. The fat content or the calories could have been miscalculated. Look online for a similar product to compare it to.

Hope this helps!
