Help i need ideas for kids under the age of 5!? ?

I’m in college and we have to plan an activity for kids and present it the last day of class it can be about safety, health, nutrition and fitness I don’t know what to do for them. HELP PLEASE!!!

That answer that kids don’t care about any of those things is silly. Why do kids enjoy preschool and kindergarten then? Kids are curious and if presented in a fun way…they will be interested! Kids are visual so books, crafts, posters, pictures or items passed around a circle are the best!

- Yoga. There are kid yoga videos at the library. You can talk about the body, and why its important to take care of it. You could make a poster board of different poses, if you stick to fun ones like Downward dog, tree stance, lion/cat pose, snake then they will love it!

-Germs -easy you can get some posters about germs at teacher stores. There are books on germs too. You can make slimy goop and let one child touch it, then that child touch another kid, and so on. To help explain how germs spread. You can used a spray bottle and pretend to sneeze near a window to show how the spray goes everywhere.

-The heart- kids are facinated to find out that the real human heart is different than the heart they know about on valentines day. Show pictures of a real heart, and talk about all the things it does. You can then have a lesson on how to keep the heart healthy. A planned activity of jump roping, running or jumping jack game…an example Each child could get a heart sticker on a class heart chart for every 10 jumping jacks, or they color a book about the heart.

Lastly…fire safety..easy! Kids love fire trucks and learning all about it will be easy.
