Nutrition Labels For Mcdonalds

I was reading the nutrition info while me and my husband were chatting with Coffee for half an hour in our local McDonald’s when i noticed the Veggie Deli Sandwich was labelled as ‘Not Suitable for Vegetarians’. As i thought this was the vegetarian option in McDonald’s i was wondering if anyone knew what was in this sandwich to make it not suitable for vegetarians?!! It concerns me that the vegetarian option is not suitable for vegetarians!!!!!
There are two reasons I would think it might not be acceptable for vegetarians. One might be the way they cook the veggie patty – if they use oil that’s been in contact with meat, or cook it on the same surface as meat. The other is that the bun uses mono and diglycerides, which can be from animal or vegetable sources. If they’re from animal sources then the bun isn’t vegetarian.
