Punica granatum or Pomegranate seed source in India?

In Southern India TWO types of Pomegranate’s are generally available in the open markets. One with the light colored arils and ones with the dark pink arils(=seeds). With Pome’s becoming beyond affordability, I would want to domestic farm them, hence seek information on sourcing seeds, soil nutrition and climatic conditions, etc required for growing 1 to 10 plants and to farming in land as much as 10 acres.Any experienced farmers in Tamil Nadu or any other Southern districts to secure pertinent information will be appreciated.
