Nutrition Made Clear

Hmm.. Inability to focus. What could it be caused by?

At first I thought I could have ADHD, but I’m not hyperactive, nor do I have impulsivity. I actually feel tired and lazy most of the time.
I also thought of nutrition deficit, I regularly take vitamins and minerals. I also made necessary blood check ups and it was all clear.
I have been depressed for a very long time but I was able to get over it alone with no meds, but I still have ups and downs.
When I’m in a family gathering, I find it hard to make an eye contact, because I’m so distracted by the “nothing”. Meaning, I can’t make a connection to others as the disconnection to the world is much stronger, even during the most intimate moments. There you would see me staring at nothing, thinking of nothing at all.
I want to know the reasons behind that, and what can I do to get over it?

I think it’s a symptom of depression. But sometimes having a healthy diet can help – not just to take vitamins, but to eat real, healthy, nutritious food. Sugar always makes it hard for me to focus so I try to avoid eating refined or added sugars. Also making sure you get enough essential fatty acids, as that is something that probably wouldn’t show up in a blood test but is important in your diet. Just do a search for ‘essential fatty acids for clear thinking’. Good luck.
