Is switching from a dietetics major to food management a bad move?

Lately I’ve been seriously thinking about switching my major from Food and Nutrition–Dietetics to Food and Nutrition–Food Management. I am HORRIBLE at chemistry and as you know, chem is a big chunk of the classes I have to take and do well in. I might have to withdraw from my Organic chem class this semester because I am doing so horribly in it, and I don’t think I will have a chance. I’m just afraid my options are more limited as a food management major. Would it be better for me to switch to food management or are the jobs under that concentration poor or limited?

Yes, your options are lessened but so what?

Plenty of work for competent food managers – and this is one of the few occupations that can’t be outsourced.
