Nutrition Marathon

First Time Marathon Training Help!?
Hi everyone,
I have decided to run my first Marathon every on July 25 (SF Marathon). That gives me 4 solid months of working out, but… I have no idea how to train for a marathon.
A little about myself:
I am an ex-NCAA swimmer competing in mid distance to distance. I have been an athlete all my life. I have not currently been working out as much as I would like because I am stuck in an office all day. However, I am beginning a job as a swim coach in a couple of weeks so that will give me LOTS of time to train. I plan on also starting up doing yoga once a week and swimming as much as I can.
I am just looking for any tips at all- good run workouts to do, nutrition, gear, etc.
All the help and advice is appreciated!!! Thank you!
Start slowly with a 5 M run and then go for 6 and then 7 etc etc,.
