Diet and nutrition question: Fruit?

I'm trying to lose weight by eating healthy and exercising an hour a day. I eat lots of fruit, as part my diet to compensate for the lack of vegetables (I am very picky), but my boyfriend told me that the fruit contains a lot of sugars, which prevent the loss weight. I've also been eating a lot of things like lean meat, egg white omelets for breakfast, cheese, etc, too much fruit but keeps me from losing weight? Am trying to lose 20 pounds by the end of June.

Losing 20 pounds and "easy" it is, is relative to how much you weigh now … You are doing a good choice of food now … No one has fat by eating fruit … Take everything in moderation. 2-3 servings of fruit a day is ideal. berries, melons, grapes, apples are the best … Bananas have a lot of sugar. Keep up the good work!

Nutrition Tip: Mid morning omelette
