California Universities?

I will be applying for a nutrition/dietetics program to a few universities in California, next year. The five, I am thinking of, which have good nutrition programs are San diego state, San Jose state, Cal state- Los Angeles, Cal State- Long Beach and Univ. of Cal- Fresno. I was hoping, people could give me their opinions on any of these schools, that will help me narrow down my choices. I also want to make sure, the one I choose is in a city area, with shopping and good beaches. If it helps my favourite area of california is Santa Monica. I would appreciate any information, anyone could give me.

Of the state schools San Diego is the largest and has the most resources for it’s programs. Fresno and San Jose should be dropped if you want to go to the beach. I would recommend San Diego then LA then Long Beach. I know San Diego has a good nursing and public health program as well as nutrition.
