Nutrition Protein Bars

Has anyone had any success with protein bars?
I'm thinking of trying the protein bars. I like to work in the morning before eating anything and I'm thinking about eating a protein bar after a workout, as my first meal of the day. Can anyone tell me if this is a good idea or not, I'm not very knowledable about nutrition. Also, any recommendations of good bars, protein effective? I really really really appreciate any help I receive that thank you very much everyone! 
Protein bars are a great and tasty (usually) to get high quality protein in their diet. Not only are conveinient, but fill you to avoid snacking. I use Maximuscle Cyclone (all in one, protein, creatine, and more), as a snack daily and they seem really effective. Since I started taking them, i have grown in strength and recovery. Visit www.maximuscle.com and see the weight "gain "Section to find the bars. They come in a few flavors, but I recommend the chocolate as the taste and dark chocolate. Word of warning, if you are intolerent of sugar alcohols, all the bars may have a laxative effect. Also, make sure you check the fiber content, as will a little badly if overdose! Bars cyclones have 5g down so no problem, but some have up to 12 g, which can be a problem! The best time to take in case of doubt, an hour before a training and then a shake (and a protein bar if you can afford it), after (For shakes digest and obtain nutrients to the muscles fast.)
