Should I get extra nutrition because I am working out as a teenager?
Working out does not stunt your growth, period & go research on it too. Okay, I am 13.5 years old, and since my nutrition is going into my muscles (such as repairing muscles from protein breakdown and getting them bigger & stronger) when you workout, should I take in more nutrients such as from a MULTIVITAMIN pill to also help with height growth, repairing, etc?
Yes, you will especially need more water-soluble vitamins such as B and C if you work out more. It’s not necessary to get much more A, D, E, and K than you already do although vitamin D is linked with calcium absorption which could benefit your strength.
Basically you could get these vitamins by drinking orange juice and eating red meat, which would also add more protein to your diet.
