what to use instead of red wine vinegar?
I want to make this recipe for greek salad dressing, but it calls for red wine vinegar. I can’t have the wine or any alcohol in my foods for religious reasons.
So is there something else I can use as a substitute maybe like lemon juice??
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1 1/2 quarts olive oil
1/3 cup garlic powder
1/3 cup dried oregano
1/3 cup dried basil
1/4 cup pepper
1/4 cup salt
1/4 cup onion powder
1/4 cup Dijon-style mustard
2 quarts red wine vinegar
@Niki, some of the balsamic vinegar contains alchohol too! but I think I seen some without so I’ll have to check it out thanks!
I know that vinegar comes from Alchohol, I’m talking about the Vinegar that still contains a small % of it!
For a greek style dressing I think lemon juice would make it even Greekier.
