My sodium levels are off the chart?
Today I started tracking my diet and have been trying to eat healthy.
Im doing pretty good except for sodium levels.
Im using the USDA Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion website.
My recommended Sodium intake per day should be:
2300 mg
After entering all the foods I have eaten, in the correct quantities it reports:
6008
How bad is this?
Very bad, you really should not be taking in over 2300 mg a day. Some foods are decieving because they appear low in calories/fat calories but there loaded with sodium.
