Nutrition Trivia And Facts

I’m doing a food & nutrition project and I was wondering if anybody had any interesting facts on the stomach or any trivia-type questions?
1). The large intestine, though called large, is only 5-6 feet long.
The small intestine is about 22-25 feet long, twisted into the abdomen space.
2). The acids produced in the stomach, if contained in an iron vessel, will corrode a hole within 10 days. Yet, the stomach wall lining is so exquisite that it can contain the acids without any problem (provided there are no ulcers inside the stomach).
3). It is amazing that over 100 different bacteria thrive inside the stomach, most of them produced by the stomach and needed for digestion.
