What kind of preschool education is your child?
My son (almost 4) is a school that is "non-academic 'which means be reviewed twice a year to see if they are meeting developmental stages, but not actively teach skills such as numbers and letters. Make a circle and story time and have thematic units such as health and safety and nutrition, but do not work in anything to prepare for kindergarten. So … What type of preschool is your son? Just a FYI I have taught all his skills in preschool and anyway, even print your name clearly. I asked whether to put it on a more academic preschool next fall, since it is his last year before Kindergarten. Just curious as what others are doing:)
The I live in the state that have what they call Pre-K, and I can honestly say that's exactly what they do ….. I have two children attended and the man impressed me. I was a product of pre-k as well. Headstart I do not agree with. Its focus is on teaching and sharing the care ….. to me that's my job as a parent, I would like to focus on abc and 123!
