How I can get my son to eat vegetables and fruits?
Here lately my child refuses to eat vegetables or fruit. I tried to give sweet potatoes, zucchini, squash, carrots, bananas, apples, peaches, peas, green beans, plums, blueberries, strawberries. Do not eat them, only spits at me. He has no problem eating meat, milk or bread, but denies any vegetables or fruit set before him. I do not know what to do. I am preparing for him to change to whole milk and I worry that will not get adequate nutrition. Anyone have any suggestions? Is it just a phase? It will be a Friday. To I can eat cottage cheese? I was not sure what I missed the right is more in store this week.
The answer would be mixed with things you like and eat. For example, if you like cottage cheese and yogurt, mixed fruit and give them to him. He likes pancakes? Mix some fruit into the batter. Not I like vegetables? Make a "pizza" for him, toast, pizza sauce to chopped vegetables in it and smother with cheese, do not even realize there are (maybe). Or make the dough and cut the vegetables and mix with tomato sauce. He likes meat? Chop spinach and mix in a burger next time you do. If he manages to select the chopped vegetables though small, have to resort to puree and mix them in the food they eat. We have to be creative as possible with them! Good luck!
