Many people are going to answer, suggesting that you major in Pre-Med. This, however, is not a major! Pre-Med is nothing more than a series of courses in Maths and Sciences that students will need to complete as Prerequisite Courses in order to be eligible for admission into Medical School. So, you can major in anything you want. You just have to make sure that you also complete these Prerequisite Courses. If you loved Dance, you could major in that and still have a chance at Medical School. With that, probably your quickest route towards completing all courses required for your major and to fulfill the Prerequisite Courses would be to major in a Science- Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry. No matter what you choose to major in, make sure you keep your Cumulative GPA at a minimum of 3.5 on 4.0 scale and do well on the MCAT.

Pre-Med Courses: One year of biology, inorganic and organic chemistry, one year of physics, mathematics through calculus, 6 semester credits of English composition. The behavioral science requirement is usually 8 semester credits in areas such as psychology, sociology, or anthropology. The basic requirement for humanities is also 8 semester credits.
