About the Paleo or “Caveman” diet?
Why are beans and sweet potatoes not recommended??? Aren’t they full of nutrition and low glycemic? I love quinoa, and barley with my beans why aren’t they allowed? I am just curious whats wrong with these grains? Is there anything wrong with them or is it just not a “caveman” thing to do? The rest of it makes complete sense and staying away from grains will too if there really is something wrong with them
I would assume the idea is eating only what could have been accessible in the area of the caveman, Europe, Asia, Africa. So that could be a reason, but any diet needs a good source of protein and fiber, which is why there are no longer any cavemen around.
