This is a meal I posted earlier. It’s what I ate today. I got good feedback saying that it was a good mealplan, however, I used sparkpeople.com’s nutrition tracker and it says that it’s only 846 calories..
I am 5’6”, 180lbs, female, 24 yrs old.
8:30AM-KASHI oatmeal and 2 eggwhites
10:00AM-celery and a little pnut butter
12:00pm-canned tuna with lowfat mayo
2:00-no snack todayYIKES!
5PM-salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, parmesean cheese, chickpeas, and cooked shrimp)
Today I jog/walked 3 miles and then did a 45 spin class in the afternoon…what do u think? Should i be eating more? How can I incorporate more good calories during meals? Obviously by not skipping that snack, but what else do u reccommend?
I’d be willing to guess your measurements are low on the website. Typically a bowl of cereal is 2.5 servings of cereal at 1cup/serving.
Likewise, peanutbutter is deceptive. Just a tablespoon of peanut butter has 210 calories. Your are eating a good meal, I think you will lose weight if you continue to eat meals like this – but I think the calorie count is off by about 500 calories too low.
I would guess your meal to be about 1400 calories maybe even 1500.
