Spinach Nutrition Iron

Are cooked vegetables better?

Based on nutrition data.com (which I’m not completely sure if it’s reliable), it says that boiled spinach has more calcium, iron, dietary fiber, etc. than raw spinach. It says this for a lot of other vegetables like broccoli too. Is this true? I always thought raw was better but maybe cooking break down the cell walls and allows nutrients to be absorbed better.

It depends on the particular vegetable.
