Subway Nutrition Honey Mustard

Is subway really that good for you? (salt intake)?

If i ever get fast food its always subway but when i was on the website the meats have a lot of sodium i am assuming because they are processed. SO i was wondering if i should try to steer away from subway. If you were wondering what i get i get
9 grain honey oat bread
turkey
lettuce
tomato
onion
green pepper
banana peppers
and honey mustard sauce
is there anything that i should take out or could add that has good nutritional values
also does the nutrition change if u get it toasted

Subway is definitely one of the better options when it comes to fast food. However, yes, the meats are very high in sodium. In any case, fresh or processed, lunch meat is ALWAYS high in sodium. As for the meats subway use, it tends to be even higher considering it is packaged in preservatives. The sandwich you described is good. However, I would switch to the regular 9 grain wheat bread, instead of the honey oat (less sugar). Also, I would consider eliminating the banana peppers and the honey mustard sauce – they add more sodium to the sandwich. Toasting the sandwich does not change the nutritional value.
